Our Doctors
Robert Ricketts, D.O.
Dr. Ricketts, originally from the Rochester area, has established himself as a dedicated practitioner in our community. He earned a Master's in Public Health from University of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following his education, he completed his Family Practice Residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Dr. Ricketts began his private practice in 2012, driven by a passion for providing exceptional healthcare to his patients.
Trevor Ripley, M.D.
Dr. Ripley, earned his Master’s Degree in Basic Medical Science from Wayne State University in 2003 and received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2007. Completing his residency at Troy Beaumont in 2010, Dr. Ripley then joined Orion Family Physicians until 2014. From 2014 to 2021, he served as Clinical Faculty at Beaumont Troy Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Ripley's medical interests include sports medicine, in-office procedures, and chronic health management.
Erica Jarcaig, M.D.
Dr. Jarcaig, originally from Windsor, Ontario, graduated from University of Western Ontario in 2011. She obtained her medical degree from St. James School of Medicine and conducted her clinical rotations in Chicago and Detroit. Dr. Jarcaig completed her residency training as part of the inaugural class of UAMS-Baptist Health Family Medicine program in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Raphael Szymanski, M.D.
Dr. Szymanski, originally from Brazil, has called Metro Detroit home for over twenty years. He completed his family medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and earned his medical degree from WMU Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Driven by a strong dedication to preventive care, he strives to empower his patients to prioritize their health.​​​

Colt Moran, M.D.
​Dr. Moran has been a lifelong resident of the Metro Detroit area. Growing up in Waterford, MI, he pursued his undergraduate and medical degrees at Wayne State University. He then completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where he distinguished himself as chief resident. Dr. Moran is dedicated to treating patients like family and fostering a patient-centered medical environment.
Kelsey Cotner, DO
We are thrilled to be welcoming Dr. Cotner to our practice this August! She is originally from the Lansing area and attended MSU for both undergrad and medical school. Dr. Cotner is completing residency at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy. While in residency, she completed additional training through the University of Arizona in integrative Medicine. Her special interests include women's health, preventative care, and lifestyle medicine.

Jumana Rifai, Pharm D., CNC, WLS
Originally born and raised in Troy, Michigan, Jumana pursued her Doctorate in Pharmacy at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. After spending 2019-2023 practicing pharmacy, she joined the Northtown Primary Care team in 2024. Jumana now spearheads the weight loss clinic, employing her intellectual acumen to guide patients on their transformative health journeys.

Rob joined Northtown Primary Care in 1993 after graduating from Michigan State University. He assumes the pivotal role of overseeing all daily operations, priding himself on unparalleled customer service and fostering a support staff renowned for its excellence.

With over 25 years of clinical experience, in multiple facets of health care, she excels in patient education, assisting with procedures and ensuring exceptional patient care. Outside of work Jen is an accomplished Equestrian, Riding Instructor and Michigan certified Horse Judge.
